Rapid change with pragmatic results ...

Peter Drucker said, "We never solve problems, we just learn to think differently about the problem." Helping teams improve their effectiveness, and get more done in a more cooperative way is the goal of Practical Leadership.
We work with teams as a change mentor to improve the results of the team in a pragmatic way. Team building is based on solving real problems rather than playing team games and exercises. We actively engage with teams in the process of solving key issues faced by the team whether it is strategy, structure, meeting dynamic, or communication.
Examples of Practical Leadership approaches:
Restructured the executive committee to build a process oriented organization over a one year period of time.
Overcame poor employee satisfaction scores by helping the leadership team structure, organize, and communicate more effectively; also coached individually with key leaders.
Helped an executive team determine the most strategic investments in a rapidly shifting market situation.
Facilitated a new technology vision with the executive committee and the top technologists.
Helped division rapidly respond to a new directive for strategic planning that initially appeared to be impossible to meet.
Coached an entirely new management team from formation to being fully operational and helped them focus to exceed their performance objectives.
Created a five year plan to help a successful entrepreneur turn the reigns of his business over to the next generation of leaders to perpetuate the business success. Continued to work with the team throughout implementation.
